On 9/7, Skyrise performed with Reid, Miss Michigan, and Closer to the Ocean at Tough Times for Closer to the Ocean’s release party. We went second to last, and we played a 45 minute set. It was definitely one of our best performances ever! Even though we had all been out late at our Wetlab gig the previous night, and Saturday was my third night of gigging in a row, we all had a ton of energy, and our stage presence was unmatched!
Tough Times is one of my favorite venues to play because everyone there is always very supportive and engaged. The other bands all did an amazing job, and we really enjoyed listening to them. Thank you so much to Challo Schott, Tough Times, and Closer to the Ocean for having us! We cannot wait to be back!
